GOLDEN PALACE RESTAURANT

Opened in 1980, Golden Palace Restaurant is currently in its 30th year of business. During these years, this time-honored eatery has made a name for itself with its everyday tea and dim sum. Residents of Houston and other cities in the neighborhood keep patronizing Golden Palace not only for its tasty food, but also for its comfy ambience and attentive service.

This restaurant covers an area of 7,200 square feet, and can comfortably accommodate 400 diners at a time. It features an oriental décor, with red lantern, elegant folding screen, potted plants and other ornaments adorning the dining room.

Golden Palace mainly serves authentic Cantonese cuisine, bringing one of the eight famous cuisines of China to its new and regular customers. Its encyclopedia-like menu includes more than two hundred items, ranging from appetizers, soup, egg foo young, fried rice to varied kinds of entrees. Out of all these delicacies, Shaomai, Chicken Feet, Salt & Pepper Sparerib and Steamed Whole Fish are the highly acclaimed dishes. Each dish resembles a piece of art work, carefully prepared and exquisitely presented by the experienced and innovative kitchen staff.
